The foundations of KUBATEC BMT AG were already laid in 1972. Today, Bruno Meyerhans leads the company in its second generation.
Company Profile
The company shares are entirely family-owned. The company initially specialized in the production of niche and specialty products for the construction industry. The development and production of oxygen burning lances for cutting concrete elements marked the entry into the demolition industry.
With the development of Betonamit, an explosion-free demolition agent for simple, safe and targeted demolition of rock and concrete, previous technologies in concrete demolition and rock excavation were largely replaced.
Location
Liechtenstein is one of the most highly industrialized countries in the world. Excellent location factors such as highly qualified staff as well as a stable and business-friendly policy have led to an enormous density of world-leading companies in this small state.

Awards
With enormous innovative power and the necessary flexibility, problems are always seen as an opportunity and a challenge. KUBATEC BMT AG already made a name for itself in Austria back in 1976, when the Reichsbrücke bridge collapsed into the Danube on August 1st.
After several failed attempts with armored recovery vehicles from the Austrian Armed Forces and other salvage methods, KUBATEC BMT AG stepped in and developed and produced a special oxygen core lance in record time. Its great advantage was that it could cut through steel and concrete both above and below water. This made it possible to break up and salvage large concrete elements. KUBATEC BMT AG was awarded the City of Vienna's medal of merit for this achievement.
Development & Production
Our production facility is located in Ruggell in the Principality of Liechtenstein. Our large storage and production areas allow us to meet delivery deadlines with almost 100% reliability, even under high workloads. Continuous investment in our production facilities creates clean and gentle working conditions for our employees, even when producing highly dusty products.
The development and production of Betonamit, the explosion-free demolition agent for gentle and controlled demolition of rock and concrete, was a key factor in the company's international success. Today we manufacture for countless renowned companies worldwide and produce our products under our own brands as well as numerous private labels on behalf of our customers.
Memberships
Founded in 1947, the LIHK represents the interests of employers on behalf of around 40 member companies, which provide employment for over 12,870 people in Liechtenstein and a further nearly 56,870 people in many countries around the world.
The Swiss Blasting Association is a professional association whose goal is to promote blasting technology, train its members, and provide corresponding further education and training. The association has around 1,000 members.

KUBATEC BMT AG primarily supports local athletes and sports clubs, such as the regional tennis club Eschen / Mauren. In addition, for years the company has made sure, wherever possible, to consider sheltered workshops and other social institutions when procuring consumable materials.
